Pioneer Institute hosted a forum on September 19, 2012 at the Omni Parker Hotel. “Why Huck Finn Matters: Classic Literature in Schooling” with keynote speakers Jocelyn Chadwick, author of The Jim Dilemma: Reading Race in Huckleberry Finn, who makes her return to Harvard this year, and Ron Powers, Pulitzer and Emmy Award winning Twain biographer and co-author of the bestseller, Flags of Our Fathers.
