Annual Giving

As a non-profit organization, Pioneer Institute relies on individuals, corporations, and foundations for financial support.  Your tax-deductible gift will allow us to continue making Massachusetts a better place to live, work, and do business.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations match gifts to charitable institutions such as Pioneer Institute.  Corporate matching gift programs are a great way to increase the value of your gift.

Double

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of appreciated stock may allow donors to avoid a capital gains tax in addition to receiving a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock.  To initiate a gift of stock, please contact Brian Patterson, Director, Annual Fund, bpatterson@pioneerinstitute.org, 617-723-2277 ext. 217

Gifts in Honor or in Memoriam

Pioneer Institute is a special place.  We offer the opportunity to give a gift in honor, or in memory, of an individual.  On receipt of such a gift, Pioneer institute will inform the honoree, or family of the deceased, of the gift and will provide an acknowledgement letter to the donor.  Both the designee and the donor will be recognized in the Annual Report.

Event Sponsorship

Many of our events have sponsorship opportunities.  For more information on individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities contact the Development Office at 617.723.2277.

Corporate Giving

Corporate members will receive quarterly newsletters, invitations to exclusive member events with free admission for up to five individuals per event, networking opportunities with state policy makers and prominent business leaders, special recognition in our Annual Report, and one table at the Lovett C. Peters Lecture.

Corporate membership is $5,000 for the year.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts are gifts that allow individuals to financially support Pioneer Institute through a trust, annuity, insurance policy, or bequest.  Certain planned gifts, such charitable remainder trusts, can provide financial advantages during one’s lifetime. This is an excellent way to help secure the future of Pioneer while receiving personal financial benefits.

With planned gifts, individual circumstances as well as tax and estate planning will vary, please consult your attorney or estate specialist.  If you have any questions about Planned Giving at Pioneer Institute, or have already included Pioneer in your estate plans, please contact Kat McCarron at kmccarron@pioneerinstitute.org or call 617.723.2277 ext. 202.
