2-MINUTE SURVEY ON TELECOMMUTING
Will You Commute to Work When the COVID-19 Crisis Is Over?
Ever since the start of the pandemic, we have seen dramatic changes in traffic congestion and commuting. With the state advisory for residents to maintain social distance and the emergency order that closed non-essential businesses, MBTA ridership has fallen by more than 90 percent and major artery traffic is also a fraction of its pre-COVID-19 volume.
The state is exploring ways to gradually re-open the economy, which should increase car and transit travel. But the COVID-19 pandemic is likely to change a number of habits both in the short and the long term.
How will you look at commuting in the future? This survey will ask over 30,000 people how their attitudes and habits will change. Please be part of our work to understand the changing world around us.
