Hyatt Regency Boston, One Avenue de Lafayette, Boston, MA 02111

Pioneer Institute established the Lovett C. Peters Lecture in Public Policy to encourage and honor individuals whose ideals and accomplishments have left a mark on their world, and to inform and enrich intellectual debate surrounding the most pressing issues of our day.

The Institute is pleased to welcome Roland G. Fryer, Jr., Professor of Economics at Harvard University, as the 2024 Peters Lecturer.

Roland embodies the spirit of the Peters Lecture, which was established to celebrate and honor visionaries whose ideals and accomplishments leave an indelible mark on our world. His lecture promises to challenge conventional wisdom, offering a data-driven perspective on how free market principles can be harnessed to create innovative solutions for economic mobility.
