Pioneer New England Legal Foundation, Pioneer Institute’s nonprofit legal entity promoting educational options, accountable government, and economic opportunity, created the Brackett B. Denniston, III Rule of Law Lecture, dedicated to the critical issues challenging the rule of law in America, and named in honor of the Legal Foundation’s inaugural Board Chair.

Paul D. Clement, 43rd U.S. Solicitor General, delivered the first Denison Law Lecture in 2024.

Named for our founding Chairman, the Lovett C. Peters Lecture in Public Policy was established to honor individuals whose ideals and accomplishments left a mark on their world, and to inform and enrich intellectual debate surrounding the most pressing issues of our day.

Past Lovett C. Peters Lecturers have included Robert George, Roland Fryer, George Will, and Bari Weiss.

The Hewitt Healthcare Lecture celebrates the commitment of Pioneer Institute’s former Chairman, Charles “Colby” Hewitt, Jr. Colby previously served as Board Chairman of New England Deaconess Hospital and Trustee for Life of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
