Michael Walker is Pioneer’s Senior Fellow, Pioneer Analytics. Michael creates data applications, including most of the Pioneer Analytics applications, and works with other staff members on data-related issues. He has worked with Pioneer for the past decade. His company, DataMadeUseful, has created more than 500 data applications for state & local governments, social service agencies, think tanks, and newspapers. Michael comes to this work in a most roundabout way, having worked for 35 years in variety of businesses including check printing, tire recycling, software consulting, and website design. He received a BA in philosophy from the University of Maine, and an MBA from the Claremont Graduate University.
