Jon Staab serves as Senior Director of Development at Pioneer Institute and Pioneer New England Legal Foundation. Serving as the key strategist for the Legal Foundation’s institutional advancement, Jon leads donor engagement in support of the Foundation’s critical mission.

Prior to joining Pioneer, Jon served as Advisor to the President at The Heritage Foundation, where he solicited major gifts and led the institution’s corporate relations efforts. Before his tenure at Heritage, Jon spent six years in fundraising leadership roles, including as the Director of Development at the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies. 

Jon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. He is currently enrolled in law school at Suffolk University. He lives in Worcester with his wife, daughter, and dog.
