Fred began his career in the area of financial services.  He was a Senior Vice President of Massachusetts Fiduciary Advisors, Inc. and was the pension consultant to the Massachusetts Employees and Teachers Annuity Program.  Later, Fred was Chairman of Clifford, Bordeau and Associates, Inc., a subsidiary of Freedom Securities (part of the John Hancock) that engaged in executive benefit planning and small scale banking. 

Fred has served on the boards of several philanthropic groups including Past Chairman of the Perkins School for the Blind where he was a board member for 29 years.  Fred also served as the Director of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital –Plymouth and Chairman of the BID Plymouth Foundation, Fred also served on the board of Noble and Greenough School and holds a Distinguished Graduate Award.  In Duxbury, Fred has been on the Zoning Board of Appeals for 22 years and has served as Chairman to the town’s finance committee, Chairman and founder of the Duxbury Maritime School, and Trustee of the Duxbury Beach Reservation.  Fred resides in Duxbury with his wife Barbara of over 50 years.  Fred has a degree from Williams College.
